Last month the bodybuilding world lost a great athlete. His name was Aziz Sergeyevich Shavershian, who was known to many as Zyzz. Many did not know of Zyzz but he was a legend on the likes of bodybuilding.com, and his progress to be the most aesthetic body in the world led to him becoming a roll model for many people.
It seems his life was just starting before he passed having developed his own protein supplement, released a book, and had his own clothing line. I was shocked and saddened by his death because he was a great inspiration and it is such a waste of talent. He left us too young.
Zyzz started out training to impress people, but his views changed and he said;
"I can safely say that my motivation to train goes far beyond that of merely impressing people, it is derived from the feeling of having set goals and achieving them and outdoing myself in the gym"
This quote is exactly how you feel in the gym. Always having a goal to change your body and always pushing yourself every second you're in there. He was a great inspiration and will be missed by us all.
R.I.P Zyzz (1989 - 2011)
'Son of Zeus. Brother of Hercules. Father of Aesthetics.'

You write so well.

Hi, dunno if you will get this as you posted this so long ago, but I am doing an exhibition on Zyzz and the Zyzz revolution and would love to chat to you. I'm really interested in the picture you used in your post. You can see some of my research on Zyzz on my YouTube. Please contact me on m.underwood@uq.edu.au Cheers, Mair Underwood
